CHURCH WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATION POLICY
Sunday morning church services will be held as usual for those who wish to attend when a “Level One” snow emergency is declared. Church services will automatically be canceled if and when a “Level Two” snow emergency is declared. If church services are canceled, this information will be available on the home page of our website, salesvillechurchoffaith.com, on our church Facebook page, and on the cancellation page at yourradioplace.com. It will also be broadcast on all of the local AVC Communications radio stations.
Here are the Snow Emergency Classifications:
Level One: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously.
Level Two: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be very icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Motorists should use extreme caution.
Level Three: All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel or a personal emergency exists. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roads may subject themselves to arrest.
